Byhalia High School is a state-of-the-art educational facility that was constructed from the proceeds of a county-wide bond issue in 1998. The need for a new high school was demonstrated by the rapid population growth in the northwest section of Marshall County.

The new campus includes a new gym where teams have fought for championships year in and year out; and football stadium which ushered in the resurrection of football in Byhalia after over thirty years without play on the gridiron.

Modern labs for science and language arts give students the opportunity to learn in a safe and comfortable environment. To learn more about our school, click on the tabs to the left on this page.

Concerning our athletic program, several projects are taking place this summer on our campus.  We are rubberizing the track, which is an expensive project, but protect the track from all weather conditions and will make it last for years to come.  We are also purchasing two score boards and time clocks for the football field.

Concerning our academic program, we have purchased the Academy of Reading program, have instituted AP classes in the areas of Math, Science, History and English and have bought and installed all new computers for our business lab.  Also, we were able to buy more Smart Board (Mimeo) systems and projectors for our teachers to utilize during instruction.  Parents are encouraged to visit the school and see what’s taking place this summer!
